Curious to know more. Currently in Sth Oz with family in Qld. I was hoping we in Oz could avoid the Ohio style carnage.

As seen elsewhere comments/ reports: Bankmeadow, hazmat incident at a chemical manufacturing plant.(sydney) Exclusion zone declared aftertoxic chemical spill at Banana, CQ (Queensland) Lincoln gap, sth oz, old silos full of tyres for years since company made millions then skipped town. Set to fire, polluting air quality. The comment on this one adds "if it was an accident you would think it'd be on the news"

Sneaky buggers making money and bailing out like that. Burning tyres make a lot of smoke. Nothing on the Ohio scale yet though. Fingers crossed they don’t ramp up more dirty habbenings.
