Good morning, GA! After 4+ years of trying, my wife is finally pregnant. A little late at 35, but she is healthy and in shape, so hopefully everything goes smoothly. I've been wondering about what kind of things they're going to try to inject in this kid. Are any of them necessary? I'd be worried about them sneaking the "covid vaccine" in there. We're both unjabbed. Is it possible/advisable to refuse all injections? Thanks, friends!

Wow I wish I knew you when! My kids are 25 and 27 and I live in Illinois (but spend some time in SC). There was one kid in our neighborhood who was unvaccinated and everyone thought the parents were crazy. Who knew I would feel the way I do about pretty much anything. Congratulations on bucking the system. (PS - My sister lives up in Antioch and I love the community there. It's like a time machine for me, people are so chill and nice and awake but not woke).
Where do you live in Illinois? Where do you come to in SC...I really love SC...Charleston is one of my ALL time favorite cities and I love the Lake Hartwell area...wouldn't mind moving there... I had a close friend in Round Lake...we both had 4 kids at the time...met in La Leche League...she still lives up there and her daughter now lives in Antioch...just had her 3rd child at 42...they live on the lake.
We used to go fishing up in Antioch...in one of the chain of lakes...I loved it up there...strawberry picking... apple picking and skiing in Wisconsin...I just love the area and it saddens me so that Illionois has become such a horrible blue state with such corrupt politicians. There are many wonderful people there...we were there before any of the malls, amusement places etc. were built...very small town living that I just loved...perfect for a growing family...God bless you and yours...
We go to Hilton Head Island which is around 2 1/2 hours from Charleston and an hour from Savannah Georgia. I love the weather and am here in SC now. My husband had a residency requirement for Chicago so we have a house there too, but it is essentially the suburbs - stone's throw literally. Very police/fire neighborhood so it's comfortable for us socially. Paul Vallas for Mayor signs everywhere LOL. Hope he wins the runoff. Chicago needs a break. God Bless you and yours as well. There are so many nice people in Illinois, even Chicago. Sad. I keep hoping for a miracle.
I grew up in Whiting Indiana...20 minutes from the Loop...when we got married moved to Round Lake Beach (77-89) then moved to NE suburb of Atlanta in 89 and been here since...have a son in Savannah...been there many times and been to Hilton Head many times too...my love is to visit as many different beaches up and down the east coast (Charleston to the Keys) and the Gulf Coast...love the beach...
Well Vallas won...but the whole state needs a miracle. Both sets of my grandparents are from Southern Illinois...Harrisburg and Muddy. We always spent lot of time in Illinois since Whiting is on the border...it really is a nice state...small world...
Vallas didn't win the election, they do a run off now because none of the candidates got more than 50%. The runoff between Vallas and Johnson will be in April. We shall see. EDIT: I saw Trump in Southern Illinois can't remember the name of the town. It was an amazing rally. The energy and friendliness of the people was so great. Murphysboro I think.
