My wife declined the Hepatitis B vaccine for my newborn. We argued about it. I’m scared to death of making the wrong decision. I’m asking for help, what do you guys think is appropriate for newborn vaccines? The nurse came to our house and told us if we didn’t get the vaccines they wouldn’t work with us anymore. I brought up autism and she said that the person who came out with that lost their medical license and there are ZERO negative side effects for the Hep B vax. Exact words.
It was a long and hard pregnancy. My wife has had trauma in her past and refused any meds (which I was conflicted about because it was a nightmare to live through) and now she may be suffering from post-partem depression. She is way more anti-vax than I am, hates hospitals and doctors after what has happened, and I can’t blame her. Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated.
I convinced my wife to stop vaccinating when my oldest was 2. She was not on board at first, but after looking into the issue and starting to ask questions she found out real quick how cultish vax proponents are. You are not allowed to have ANY questions of vaccines regardless of how innocuous they are. This hit her hard and fast and then she really started to dig and question things.
My kids are 9 and 8 now. They are healthier than all their peers. They rarely ever get sick, even when all their classmates do. I can't even remember the last time they were legit sick. It's that rare.
A good place to look that most people have no idea about is the vaccine inserts. These are still required by law, for now. They usually hide them and give out the 1 page "fact sheet" that doesn't have any of the real info on it and is full of propaganda. If you actually read through the insert it will be eye opening and show you just how bad the medical industry is that blindly pushes this crap with catchy phrases like "safe and effective"
Demand your informed consent. Get the insert and read it yourself. That nurse is a straight up liar. There is a full page of adverse reactions to the Hep B vaccine. Here is the Hep B insert. https://www.fda.gov/files/vaccines%2C%20blood%20%26%20biologics/published/package-insert-recombivax-hb.pdf
