I am currently watching a YouTube video of an analysis of "Under the Silver Lake" and it is very engaging with its overt symbolism and soft disclosure of Hollywood elite practices.

I was wondering if anyone else had recommendations, either for movies with blatant coding and symbolism or for documentaries exploring said movies.

I'm looking more for videos rather than articles/blogs. While I appreciate Decoding Symbols on WordPress, it is often too dense and scattershot for me to follow.

Check into Rob Agers' videos.

I rarely recommend video essays - they're a penny a dozen. He's legit.

The creepiest thing to me about Under the Silver Lake is how matter-of-fact the veil lift is, and it's in the middle of the film!
