Human skin is an organ. It happens to be the largest of all organs. It is an integument covering; shell consisting of connective tissue, blood and lymph vessels, sweat glands, an elaborate sensory nerve network, sweat glands, and hair follicles, which not only regulates temperature, and senses temperature, but protects us against the environment. With all of this, it does not have an entry or an exit port. Only the stomach, lungs and intestinal tract do.
Understanding this is key to your good health. Any object that pierces the skin is a violation to your body. Whenever possible avoidance should be taken. In certain medical emergencies, blood transfusion is necessary and the risk must be taken. Hypodermic needles are impossible to completely sterilize. Most people don't realize this. If a blood transfusion is required, then the recipient ought to know the source of the blood invading their body...... To me, this would be common sense, especially in today's world. This requirement (informed consent) should always have been practiced in the past. It's now become exponentially more difficult to safeguard your health and well-being in a medical emergency situation. The best rule is always prevention of a medical emergency situation. Sometimes we have no control over the event. Right now, there appears to be no path..... everything is contaminated.
That's why it is important to know God and be ready. I hate to be so blunt but you can see this world is falling into pieces b4 our eyes. If this isn't the end, I don't know what is.
My family knows that if I go into hospital for any reason, I will refuse blood, and say "DNR." and they know this.
Not quite....at least hopefully not. However, the world has seen many interpreted end-of-the-world events. The city of Venice was founded on escaping the "end' when Attila the Hun conquered much of Europe. His hoards of horseback fighting warriors was thought to be Armageddon and the devil himself. To escape this madness and prevent Attila's horses-from-hell reaching them, people fled to the marshes and built a dwelling therein. This became Venice. At that time, people believed the end of the world was at hand.
Best thing to do is wake up in the morning.... the moment your eyes open and witness the new day, thank God you are spared to live another day. Getting up in the morning focus on it and live it as if it is your last day. At night when you go to bed, give thanks to God. Pray that you may wake up to another joyous day.
This is essentially living a day at a time. Don't worry or attempt to interpret the future.
Amen to that fact.
