I don't think Elon is evil, he is acting out of fear. Merging with AI is and will always be a no no. AI will always graduate towards a intellectual singularity.

Instead we should use AI to enhance ourselves in the image of God, it is our divine right as his creation to also create. Of course there are a lot of ethically dilemmas around this, but it's better than being assimilated by the borg.
