Why did Trump go from calling Ron DeSantis “DeSanctimonious” to “Desanctus”.

What is meant by “DeSanctus”? A sanctus is a hymn but that doesn’t make much sense.

I would say occam applies here

Having already established Desanctimonious as his go to, Desanctus is a shorthand and rolls of the tongue much better.
