No wonder the manufacturers ignore this market, and I don't blame them.
As for the whiners, too bad, so sad. I've been riding most of my life (first time I was 3 and rode behind my grandpa on his horse). The only time I've worn a helmet was for a clinic that required it. I've been concussed twice, but I can't tell any lasting damage.
I'll also note that Christopher Reeves' helmet did him no good whatsoever...his neck was broken.
