One of the problems I see with these hearings is time limits. People can dance around the answer and talk as slowly as they want and there is a time limit in place so eventually they have to move on and the question gets forgotten. They don’t have to give a good answer. They just have to stall long enough and maybe give a half hearted answer just to push the time.
