Don Jr. Wins: PNC Bank Reverses Course, Blames Cutting Ties with MxM News on a 'Good-Faith Error'
Donald Trump Jr. scored a victory when PNC Financial Services Group Inc. reversed course after inexplicably cutting ties with his news aggregation company.
I wonder what possibly could have been said to cause such a quick turn around?
Looking "closely into the circumstances" seems to imply something they did not want to contend with. Hmmmmmm..............
Would you stay with them after a "good faith error"? Not me.
Closed all of our PNC accounts 6 months ago, after COVID restrictions and the merger. Loyal customers were no longer considered valuable assets.
Lesson learned: don’t fuck with a billionaire.
...at least, not THAT billionaire.
This was PROBABLY done by some AIR-HEAD TWIT and PNC found out and restored Don Jr's Account...
That is all...NOW GO BACK TO SLEEP!!!
It may well have been.
About 4 weeks ago on a Saturday, I was sitting in my living room when I received an alert from PNC that I had withdrawn $468.75 from an ATM in Lebanon, Ohio. I immediately checked to be sure I had my PNC Credit card and ATM card in my possession and then called the fraud unit at PNC. The representative was not sympathetic and not proactive. First I told her all the above info., that I lived no where near that city and 3rd that I only use the ATM at the bank near me. So either the bank had a skimmer on their ATM or it was an insider steal of my debit card number and password. The last time I used my card was 2 weeks prior. My debit card was cancelled at my request, not because the representative thought it would be the best decision! When I arrived at the bank on Monday at opening time I learned 4 other people had the same thing happen to them, in the same amount and that early Saturday there was a line awaiting the bank opening that also had the same amounts withdrawn. It took PNC about 5 business days to “temporarily” return funds tome while investigating further, which could take another 90 days. This means we’ll into June if 90 days is considered business days. What is going on with PNC? Are they in dire straits and trying to confiscate funds of those not actively monitoring their accounts? 3/4 of us are seniors, so maybe it is a bank scam? I guess time will tell. I bet they had a flood of account cancellations after the Trump Jr. incident!
