God bless you and your neighbors. That is such a good idea. It can't work where I live as I live in the country. But if someone came to me hungry or in need of warmth and compassion, I would not turn them away. I'd say you live in a very caring area. And giving your mother's car away and providing the first 6 months insurance to help a lady down on her luck is a very loving caring and decent thing to do. God will bless you greatly my friend. There are a lot of caring people here on GAW. Spread the love around.
