So it was no surprise that the release of the 2023 Cochrane Review , which determined that masking is ineffective against the spread of respiratory illnesses such as influenza or COVID-19, was greeted by a chorus of crickets in the media.
The review analyzed the findings of 78 other studies that involved more than half a million people from across the globe and found that wearing a medical or surgical mask “probably makes little or no difference” in reducing the spread of respiratory viruses.
Nope.
I was outside playing with my dog yesterday when a Dominoes delivery guy pulled up in front of my neighbor. He got out wearing a full mask. I laughed and pointed my finger at him. Full shame mode. I said, "What are you doing STILL wearing a mask?!"
He delivers the pizza and as he's walking back to his car he says - and I quote - "I know it doesn't protect me from anything, but It keeps me from having to fake smile at people."
I retorted, "Take it off! Stop living the lie!"
So here you have someone fully admitting he wears a mask only for the reason of "not being perceived as a nice person."
Think about that....
