This is the most dangerous time to be dealing with sociopaths: When they realize their lies and bullshit and manipulation don't work anymore.

They are quite literally incapable of admitting they were wrong, or trying to right the wrong, or of working with you to make amends.

All they will do is lash out in full-blown rage and go scorched-earth on you and everything around you.
