Looking for input to add meat to this concept. I figure my senior generations can share a lot, and I'm not much of a history nerd.
But it appears to me that each generation has brought some kind of vital gift to the world. All of which are coming together right now to defeat evil on a world wide scale.
Like, my generation sort of perfected the Internet and music, so that the next generation could perfect independent media, so that a truth teller in his chilly barn could shine some light for the whole world to see.
Really starting to understand that song about God orchestrating everything to take what the enemy meant for evil, and turn it for good.
How far back can we trace the generational gifts, blessings and miracles? ...proving that God is Always faithful, even when we all but forget about Him.
ok but I perfected ambiguous dry humor.
Nice, and I'm not dissing your generation. I have 2 millennial daughters and 1 genZ son that are totally awesome. I think your generation takes a lot of unwarranted grief. Yours will be one of the greatest generations by the time this is over. Keep your heart on your sleeve and your eyes wide open fren.
Well it's all about how we see things. Much to grumble about each generation, but so much more awesomeness. The youngsters have been very frustrating for sure, but there are many who are finding the Word, being filled with Holy Spirit and hearing the call. It's something to behold.
well fern...did you ever remember the video game pac man?? our generation was much like that...you run each day while the pac man was on your ass every step of the way...you manage to stay one step in front of it but really feel like you are just running in circles...
I feel like a little microcosm of the future of mankind is appearing before me today on this forum. People treating each other with respect and kindness discussing issues and hearing other points of view. Beautiful. Kingdom come.
Maybe it’s the Wall album playing in the background as I read (inspired by a post here) or maybe it’s because this is my quiet time of day when I connect with Source. God.
