I've always thought he was a plant to discredit the Q followers. But as you said, he doesn't appeared to have broken any laws so he should be released.

That was always my opinion of the guy, still is. I can't think of any conservatives, Trump supporters or even Rs who would behave as he did, so, an enigma.
