Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
I've been contemplating the book of Revelation being a spiritual reality that is always happening in the saints of God, all the way through the book to the New Jerusalem which we are. If we come to to the spiritual realization that we are presently the New Jerusalem, then all the describing of the beautiful city is a spiritual description of us, you and me.
Revelation 11:15 is right in the middle of the book. The seventh trumpet declares my kingdom which was once a world kingdom, earth kingdom, is now the kingdom of God and His Christ. This is a realization in the saint that comes to be understood as a spiritual reality.
And we get an earthquake :)
Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
I was just doing study in Revelation. My biggest takeaway: I learned 'the scroll' is the title to the earth. Land titles of that day were written on both sides, the only scrolls like that. So opening the scrolls implies ownership. Revelation led me to Ezekiel and Daniel. There are many references inferred in Rev from those books. Ezekiel is his vision of God destroying Jerusalem and Israel.
"God Aside" - Just go drive around and look at geology , as you pass - look at this masterpiece called EARTH - and if you have any FAITH at all , a REVELATION that GOD is the entity pulling the strings , and this will warm your SPIRITUAL REALITY.
Yes indeed. Sometimes I get tired of contemplating spirituality and just want to relax in the relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Be the message.
No better place than out in "God's Country" on a nice Sunday morning , in a CHURCH of his own creation. You wanna talk "Truth Bombs" ??? Go stare at places like the Grand Canyon / Bryce / San Andreas Fault / Death Valley / White Sands NM / Giant Sequoias / and then you will be giving "Thanks & Praise" !!!
Right on. I ride my bicycle to work every day, it's a great time to commune with God.
I was at the doctors office years ago and there was a detailed drawing of the human ear. Looking at the complexity of design, the interrelationship of all the parts, and the fact that the ear only works if ALL of the pieces are in place makes it hard to believe that that single sensory organ was the result of random genetic mutations. And the ear is not the most complex part of the human body by any means. It would seem that anybody who studies biology would have to have some belief in intelligent design.
Eyes are the same way.....
Yes, I like that, I see perfection in just being able to get up in the morning :)
