I like this. In the mid 90s, when I first got online, I realized very quickly that no government would ever allow such a Free Speech platform to stand. There was no way to control the narrative. They'd either have to control it or bring it down completely.

And they did get away with their restrictions...for a while. But boards like this one and Musk "freeing" Twitter are in the process of causing a backswing. The next problem (as I see it) is with the Chat bots. Flooding any discussion with pre-packaged support or denial but in a more fluent, fluid way than using a bunch of Chinese drones who cost $$$.

I believe humanity is resilient enough and self-interested enough to turn this around on them. Again.
