I hope that GAW realizes that this man, whatever his faults or virtues, is the symbol of the J6 patriots in the public imagination, and that his earnestness and sincerity, forget the purity of his worldview, rightfully earn him our support IMHO. Do not forget that many members of the MAGA community, such as myself, are former Bernie Bros and recovering leftists rightly skeptical of big government and Deep State malfeasance. This man strikes me as such a person, and he has been a victim of the insidious machinations of exactly those bad actors that we all idly claim to oppose. We are on his side regardless of our uncertainty regarding his motives, because he is an American citizen who is being abused by his government, whose rights are being trampled, and who has been made, rightly or wrongly, the face of our entire movement.
He was conspicuously not a troublemaker on J6, and here he further proves himself a thoughtful and articulate PATRIOT despite his extended unjust incarceration, shutting down this journalist’s question about the illegality of his presence in the Senate chamber: He was escorted into those very chambers by capitol authorities! That is the whole point, and the crux of this whole farce. It was the authorities who invited and escorted the mob into the Capitol: It was NOT infiltration! THIS point, and Chansley’s non-threatening demeanor, his evident kind soul, and his patriotism, are precisely the reason that the obviously false J6 narrative is going to be destroyed for normies who bought the deception hook, line, and sinker…
To me, he is a hero and we should support him wholeheartedly. Otherwise we choose a lonesome purity over a movement that welcomes patriots of all stripes who love their country. We will need all kinds to win our country back!
Agree 100%. I’ve met him, stood shoulder to shoulder at a stop the steal rally in Phoenix. I felt he was very articulate and passionate about his beliefs, not violent, and he had a LOT of friends at the rallies he attended. Even spoke to the crowd as a guest speaker. I pray he sees justice for what he’s endured.
