Yes, in fair Verona, the young Capulet aristocratic ingenue would have surely been black as the ace of spades, thick-lipped and with hair in cornrows… As bombastic as Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 production was, it had gorgeous visuals and was wonderfully romantic. I can only imagine how utterly insufferable a “woke” version of Shakespeare’s classic would be… Hollywood is DEAD!

Makes sense. Younger blacks and Hispanics haven’t been gaslit into ideological Stockholm syndrome by 60 years of Democrat propaganda the way their parents and grandparents were, and they can see clearly the perverse priorities of the modern Democratic party: Trannies and illegal immigrants. Same moment of clarity is happening for Asian-Americans. Democrats have grossly underestimated the reflexive cultural conservatism of their working-class and ethnic minority electoral base. I don’t think the Dems have seen yet the fallout from the DISASTROUS “trans visibility day” sacrilege they promoted during Holy Week. It reminds me of the “Latinx” nonsense which Hispanics HATE! It’s going to backfire.

Faggy soyboy Tristan Snell literally says “Honestly, this is so INFURIATING I don’t even know what to do. I don’t even know if I CARE what the process is that these judges are arriving at. WHATEVER it is, it’s flawed.” 😂 Salty! This is the caliber of “legal experts” they have on MSNBC. Sad. In other words, I disagree with the outcome, so something is wrong with the appeals process. Keep in mind, he’s spewing this whiny bullshit before he has any details of the appellate court decision. This is some grade A prime salt🧂

Very devout Catholic. He has been vocal about his faith and traditional values for a while. Cross on his head is for Ash Wednesday, which was a few weeks ago.

I believe you’re thinking of Florian Philippot, MLP’s former lieutenant and a homosexual. Le Pen and Philippot had a falling out and he left her movement to found a new party—and I actually think Philippot is a more hardline opponent of the EU than MLP. I believe that was part of the falling out… I don’t think her current lieutenant Jordan Bardella is gay. But, yes, MLP despite her virtues waffles a bit on the issue of EU membership for France. She’s never really articulated a clear position on the EU, which remains popular in France. She avoids taking a firm stance on that issue for the sake of electability.

What makes her absolute ignorance of basic American constitutional theory hilarious is her imperiously smug tone as she insists a fundamental premise of our legal system is exclusive to far-right “Christian nationalists” (a made-up bugaboo term). What makes it horrifying is the nodding agreement of the “expert” panel around her. Classic MSNBC/NPR-style gaslighting…

This fills my heart with joy! The left hates him for his common touch. He’s a genuine man of the people. Everything they claim to be, but aren’t. God, bless him! 🫡

Literally arming foreign nationals with no vested interest, relying on people who flout our laws for the defense of our nation. This is TREASONOUS! Imagine, a system where non-nationals could be promoted to commanding officers or worse. As someone mentioned, this is EXACTLY how the Roman Empire fell.

This has been an open secret of wealthy progressives for years. All those California liberals and Hollywood elites taking in illegal housekeepers and babysitters whom they exploit. And it’s the perfect set-up, the illegals can’t report their employers without risking deportation 🙄

I think the most important development here is that this could be the beginning of the end of Mitch McConnell’s stranglehold of Republican legislative power. McConnell and Thune and Lankford and the RINO wing of the Senate had thrown their full weight behind this bill and were basically treating its final passage as a fait accompli. There was a revolution over the weekend with Rand Paul (McConnell’s fellow senator from KY) and JD Vance sounding the alarm over this terrible border security/aid bill followed by Trump making phone calls all weekend to throttle this disastrous give-away. this mobilization seems to have paid off! MAGA Mike may have just defeated Cocaine Mitch, the Capitol Hill RINOs, and the Uniparty Ukraine Gravy Train! 🫡🇺🇸

I love movies too. I mainly watch classic Hollywood movies and only the occasional new release. Modern Hollywood is a total wasteland, and that is especially evident if you are immersed in the degree of artistry and sophistication that used to be de rigeur within the old studio system. Gosh, even those frivolous 60s sex comedies that still give feminists such conniptions look like Shakespearean masterpieces of rich, nuanced storytelling compared to the trash coming out of Hollywood today. All that is left of American cinema now is degenerates, in-your-face woke grandstanding, and a cavalcade of untalented DEI pity-hires. But I think it’s important to immerse yourself in the classics, if only to recognize the utter poverty of the current offerings…

The gaslighting on display in this clip is breathtaking: “Why did Trump believe Putin more than our 11 intelligence agencies?” Seriously? These smug harpies are absolutely insufferable!

Something really bizarre is happening with Fetterman. Strings are being cut here, seems like. His harpy handler, who was so happy to be in the spotlight before and micromanaging his appearances, retreating into the shadows exactly as he takes these bold populist stances against the woke mob is further evidence that something weird is going on here.

If she can’t win a primary in her own state, she’s done! There’s no way she’ll be able to convince donors to keep throwing good money after bad once she loses SC. It’s already over even if she can’t see the writing on the wall, but that will be the final nail in the coffin of her abysmal campaign.

His recent VERY STRONG anti-woke, anti-progressive, firmly populist stances have been refreshing. Since his reprogramming, for whatever reason, I think he’s already done more for MAGA than squishy Mitt Romney 2.0 Dr. Oz would’ve done… Hopefully he keeps it up. The Left is pissed, and I’m loving it!

I agree. This sort of reactionary, anti-art cultural philistinism is typical of the woke left. The old “lock this piece of cultural history away in a museum where we can put it in proper ‘context’” canard is such a PC reflex I can’t believe I’m hearing it repeated unironically on this board. This sculpture is actually quite based, and is a caricature of exactly the sort of globalist pedovores the Great Awakening is all about exposing. It dates back to a time when European communities were strong and recognized the real enemy. It’s actually amazing it still stands in plain view!

My favorite intellectual. Camille Paglia is the greatest American culture critic of the 20th century. She was calling out the degeneration of higher education and the nihilism of our elite managerial class with absolute precision 30 years ago. Also, the bankruptcy of contemporary feminism and political correctness. Independently reading ‘Sexual Personae’ my final semester as an undergrad was the beginning of my deprogramming as a leftist apparatchik. Her essay “Junk Bonds and Corporate Raiders: Academe in the Hour of the Wolf” is essential reading if you’re looking for an autopsy of American education… Naturally, she is HATED by the contemporary left. She has recently been trashing the anti-scientific nonsense of modern transgender ideology…

Pretty sure they go to whomever the losing candidate endorses. Happens every primary campaign when the losing candidates start seeing the writing on the wall and drop out

Glad I could help! That’s one of the classic examples of a dystopian book that is such an accurate presentation of the present you get immediately called racist for even mentioning it 😂
