I posted this because it is the first article I've seen that addresses why they needed the insurrection beyond distracting from the election fraud. It is really just a comment on CTH blog, and not meant to be a complete discussion. Apparently it is the emergency declaration that eliminates the possibility of any challenge being heard by the supreme court. They have to maintain the illusion of insurrection, which explains the desperate panic over the release of the videos. No insurrection, no emergency, challenges to certification can go to SC.
Within myself I felt that the House Rules were such an important part of taking back our nation that I was praying fervently during the 15 rounds of the Speaker votes.
I still do not have a grasp on why this imperative feeling is within me, but it is.
I am prolly one of the very few that even reads the House Rules and cares about them. But I sense from the article there is a good reason for concern about them.
Where is the discussion of the House Rules Committee in the process of establishing "emergency" rules?
Where is the discussion of the Parliamentarian's role in Congress?
Where is the discussion of Kevin McCarthy in this? Was he not House Minority Leader during this?
