I remember when I was probably around 8 - 10 age, somehow me and one of my friends were of the belief that indians wiped there butts with sticks. We were out in the woods on the trail that lead to a cool hand luke type p farm, and we decided to take a crap in the woods and try it. I don't remember how it turned out.
Incidentally, years later that p-farm became a county road dept site. I worked out there in summers of Jr. High 8th/9th grade. One summer I worked on the bullgang. It was just like on cool hand luke. We rode out in the morning in a truck with a crew box, go out and used sling to cut weeds, or shoveled dirt to fill holes in dirt roads. The foreman of the two crews were even the same men that were were foreman of the prison crews lol.
One other time I was a flunkie. A flunkies job was the drive the motorgrader operator out to the grader, and follow him around while he graded. I was flunky for Chicken Libby, whose son Punkin was my friend and worked the bullgang with me.
Or just smooth oak sticks too.
