I appreciate your point. Hebrew to English translations and intentional editing in later periods present unique problems in the text. But IMHO Biblical prophesy is not all about time and place. Most do not specify any timeframe or even a location that still exists today. I think the point is that prophesy is designed to defy the odds…to bring glory to God because in the end God wins. Of course I respect your skepticism. God made you that way!
