The charger only requires a 50 amp breaker, most houses are 200 amp service. That’s only 25% of one house, that’s not equal to 10 houses by any stretch there Morpheus.
Amps are the flow rate not the overall amount of energy.
That's like turning on your kitchen faucet on full blast for 5 seconds..then turning it off..compared to turning it on very low..but letting it run for 5 days. Which would "use more water?"
Nice misdirection! If you want to be an asshole and take away from the point I was making then let’s use kWh instead. Because you’re too stupid to look up average kWh usage I did it for you. Average kWh used per month is 886, the average kWh used to charge an electric car is only 250 you dumbass not eight thousand eight hundred six kWh. So fucking stupid to believe this. Home service is rated in amps not kWh. So amps is the relevant measurement when comparing to the service of ten houses not kWh. The problem is if you want two chargers or more then you don’t have enough amps for the rest of your power needs. This means upgrading at your home and eventually upgrading the entire grid for these stupid cars. Even if a 50 amp breaker was maxed out 24/7 it still would not use as much kWh as 10 houses, fucking stupid!! Take your water analogy and stuff it up your ass!
What if I told you, you'd use 2x more fuel in the generator charging your electric car, than if you just used a fuel driven car?
I believe this stat.
