The precipise will not be lived by those on the left alone. We all will feel it hard. Only difference will be we are ready, they are drinking soylent lattes and confused about urinals. When I feel politics and policies are tough I read a little history. Brush up on Genesis Khan and think about the people on the steppes waiting to be raided, that sort of thing. Maybe you need to step back from the Big Picture and consider smaller areas you can actually affect, though.
Those who signed the Declaration of Independence suffered following their signature of that document… some by death, others lost their homes, livelihoods or were lost during Revolutionary war.
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons in the revolutionary army, another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the revolutionary war.
When you're dead, it's probably too late--but who knows what surprises God has in store. Are you saying the only way you can see out of the social difficulties you see is to go for violent resistance? Passive resistance? Humor and memes are a form of resistance. What do you want?
