Now starts the COVID gaslighting: hold onto your sanity, citizens. Governments want you to understand that everything you believed they were telling you about COVID shots and mandates for the past three years is wrong. You heard it wrong. You understood it wrong. You are misremembering things.

They are likely technically correct.
The argument will likely be along these lines.
Get used to this because it is the way of the future. Comply with the demands of the government, or get cut off - and if we end up with a fully digital currency, it will be comply or starve/freeze/suffer in some other way.
It wasn't the government who issued $5000+ fines and forced people into internment for 2 weeks if they wanted to return to Canada from abroad. It was their employees. And by the way, the $5000 fines were provincial (Ontario), not federal. I know this for a fact. If the internment hotels were also under the quarantine act, they were likely a provincial (Ontario) matter as well. Can't say that for sure as I was never interned there.
Also, it wasn't the government that would let life long tax payers die by refusing them life-saving healthy care (such as surgery) if they didn't take the death shot. It was the hospital administration (also a provincial/Ontario matter). They didn't have to take the shot, they could just chose to die. For context, you cannot get private surgeries in Ontario by law even if you are willing to pay for them. They have created a monopoly on healthcare. You'd have to go abroad for that and depending on the health status of some of these people, that may not even be an option.
I didn't kill my enemy. It was the hitman I hired. No blood on my hands.
That's why the "it's a private company" line needs to die in a fire.
"It's a private company" with regards to treading on the Constitution needs to end.
Yep. It will come down do what is legal coercion under the law. And whatever that has been defined as, will no doubt be very disappointing to the side that is not the government.
