A bit of understanding and context for our faith...

The Book of Mormon predicts that there will be a global conspiracy coordinated by Satan to entrap everyone so that they can't find Jesus. However, God has prepared for this and warns us to not participate in these secret combinations and conspiracies.

We know that there are evil people within and without the church, who pretend to be good but are really, really bad people engaged in all sorts of conspiracies.

It is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that leaders in our church get entangled in this.

People who say they blindly trust the leadership of the church do not understand what the church teaches.
