Odd knowledge, after Joseph Smith was killed, there was arguement over who was the leader, which led to a break up of the "lds" members and several "off shoots". Of those off shoots is a group called "Bickertonite" or "Rigdonite" church which is headquartered in Pennsylvania, founded by Sydney Riddon who claimed to be the successor to Joseph Smith. One of the "Presidents" of this branch was Alice Cooper's grandfather, Thurman Sylvester Furnier.
