The Russian jet didn't 'collide' with the drone.

The jet went in front of the drone, released some of its fuel and pissed on it! Apparently, the action broke one of the propellors and bent another one which had the effect of sending it down to Davy Jones' locker.

What a novel, but effective, way to deal with an object that is illegally spying on your territory.
