Oh, I know that. The question is, what do people do with their money? The bank lends some amount of security (FDIC, security against theft, fire, etc. compared to if you keep it under your mattress.) So where do people put it for safekeeping? Whether it's a relatively small amount, like most people have, or a large amount like millionaires have - the question NOW is, what does one do with it? Nobody seems able to answer that (other than buy metals.)

-- bought several hundreds dollars in physical silver coins
-- bought seeds for a garden
-- stocked up on foods w long shelf life and mres
-- stocked up on water
-- bought a water filter
-- keep several hundred dollars in cash on hand
--keep vehicle topped off in gas
--bought DWAC stock
(Last one hasnt panned out)
Next steps might include solar generators or some way to get off-grid energy in case of emergencies. Still have some money in a credit union but i feel i have managed my risk pretty well and that's all a man can do.
