When I ran my own business before O-care, I only held Catastrophe Insurance. Paid for maintenance on my own. Never had to use it, since I did not suffer any catastrophes in that time. Been thinking of reverting to this once I leave the work force, but don't know how feasible it is any longer.
I've honestly never heard of it. Is that what it's actually called? Catastrophe insurance? That sounds like what I mean. Very few could assume the costs for something catastrophic, but could absorb the costs for smaller things (even though they are also too expensive.) But maybe something could be done about that. Yes that's what it was called when I bought it. I believe I went through Mutual of Omaha. I heard about it from a women who had a psychology practice. Only good advice she ever gave me.

Thank you for the follow up info. And I haven't known a lot of psychs, but those I have met seem truly kooky.
