Dogs have an uncanny sixth sense of the presence of danger or evil. They pick up on the vibes of people, places, or even changes in their environment that seems to tie in with instincts of survival.

If my dog suddenly refuses to go forward on a trail or accompany me into a dark barn or basement, I’m on high alert. What is she picking up on that my dense human ass doesn’t see? 9/10 times there’s a person or animal there I didn’t detect.
