This is a daily chart (one bar per day).
The green line that the rising price blasted through was a major supply zone on the weekly chart, price took 3 days to knock it down.
The blue box was my prediction of major demand that I marked in at the beginning of Feb.
The top green line is the next major supply zone on the weekly chart, however it's already been tested previously so it will only hold if new sell orders have been placed.
My prediction is that it will hit the top green line and come back down to the lower green line for a little while, unless something major happens in the news.
Well,m I would get excited when it passes 2100 in Dollars and Euro's.
any suggestions on buying small time? I put down some money and bought canadian maple leaf. It was $60 above spot but when I hesitated and didn't buy yesterday the amount it jumped up cost me over $1k. Moving forward, if I have to buy another big amount, what do you all recommend?
Pawn shops. Look for good quality gold rings, earrings etc. Make sure they have the correct markings on them.
If you can't lay down $10k a time for bullion (coins are my preferred option due to their difficulty to fake) then you won't get good prices from the dealers.
Every jeweller who buys scrap has a bag of gold to be sent off to melt down and sell, speak to one and see if they'll give you a good price for cash etc. Worth a try.
I buy in the UK, and the mark up on 1 Oz. coins has jumped a lot recently, so best to shop around, but $60 cad over spot doesn't sound too bad right now.
$60 usd over spot i mean , even though i'd be buying maple coins. the gold buffalo is $90 usd over spot which is why i am leaning toward maple leaf
Even so, it's still not bad. In the UK we have to pay a premium on silver AND 20% sales tax. At least the gold is vat free, but harder to buy in bulk unless you're minted (pun intended)
that is astounding. at least we don't pay tax at all! i'm going to jump on the maple leaf then. thanks for the advice!
