The author has let his imagination run away with him. What a mish-mash of half-understood folk history. Next door to meaningless in my opinion.

I find it hilarious that people who believe and are creeped out by this sort of stuff are the very first to tell you to your face that "astrology is rubbish and scientifically impossible."
