Is it me but the water in my toilet bowl now swirls counter clockwise? Am i imagining this? It was always clockwise, wasn't it???

The Coriolis effect has little to no impact on the direction of draining water in a toilet. The flow direction is driven by the Manufacturers installed water jets regardless of what hemisphere your on. A partial blockage such as calcium build up in the discharge jets could potentially redirect the flow..
Indeed one can force it to go the other way by swirling the water the other way, although I do not recommend you experiment by putting your hand down the toilet while flushing. Perhaps experiment when the bath is emptying...
