This CHAT artificial intelligence stuff has little to do with the Singularity.

The Singularity arrives when a human mind can be downloaded into some kind of human made “body”. The idea is life extension.

Mankind going from the hunter gatherers to today’s civilization and technology is but a tiny step towards the grandiose and obscene idea represented by “The Singularity”.

The only “singularity” type event will be the event described by the Apostle Paul in the new testament books of I & II Thessalonians and I Corinthians. And yes I am more than ready for that !
