I’m wondering if this doesn’t have dual purposes.

Arrest 45 = precedent to arrest other current/former presidents.
Arrest 45 for $$$/sex scandal = massive publicity and public outrage, highlighting the congressional slush fund ($17+ million tax payer dollars) to secretly pay off accusers claims of sexual harassment from senators and congress.

Hypocrisy at it’s finest.
