Read Article I Section 8 Clause 5 of the constitution. Once done, read the definition of "coin" as a verb. After I did this, I interpretted what I read as our Founders wanting our money to be physical. Therefor, a digital currency is unconstitutional.

After coming to this conclusion, I assume this to be DeSantis's logic and reasoning too.
