Surrender is an interesting choice of word don't you think?
That's actually a frequently used term for white-collar defendants. They release them on their own recognizance figuring the public humiliation of having a APB out is worse for optics than simply showing up for a court date. This is nothing in the scheme of things. Even if the jury finds that he did lie about it on FEC filings there isn't much they will do. A fine maybe, but he still has hundreds of millions of dollars donated to help Stop the Steal that were never spent. He is rich beyond belief. There is nothing to worry about with this case. The Georgia, Classified docs, and Jan 6th investigations could turn out a whole lot worse. But he will cross that Rubicon when he gets to it. But there is nothing immediate that should cause any concern. He's got this. Keep your spirits up.
