I'm pretty sure DJT knew this was coming down the pike, but didn't know when, so he publicly released that he would be arrested on Tuesday. This essentially forced the DA to come out and say that it would be next week. Smart play by POTUS... forced them into providing the timeline for arrest! Now he knows how much time he has to play with.
