We're not fuckin stupid, we get it, This was an illustration of a hurricane type storm, and is showing how bad this winter storm is and has similar characteristics of a hurricane, Mr. weatherguy the B.P. of this particular storm in 986 which is similar of a hurricane, surface winds will be quite high like around sustained of around 68MPH, this is unheard of with a winter pacific storm, Batten down the hatches on this one folks, In other words for those in Loma Linda CA. hold on to your ass.

Welcome to solar weather / forcing interactions with earth weather.

They said the sea temperature had to be in the mid to high 80s to support a hurricane / cyclone strength storm....

They failed to account for alternative sources of energy also being able to power weather on our planet.
