There was an Unsolved Mysteries episode once about how UFO's can deactivate our nukes and do so any time we try to launch one. They repeatedly showed up at military bases and would hover over a missile silo and deactivate the missiles. I think we have been disallowed to use nukes since the first time in Japan. The UFO sightings really picked up around1945 with the famous Roswell incident being the one most everyone knows about in 1947. The nukes our country dispatched on Japan happened in 1945. Supposedly they affect the entire universe's ecology and when we used them it brought about much interest in our planet by other entities.
