Oh that just makes TONS of sense - trees live on carbon dioxide which we exhale and release oxygen which we breathe.
They created a new controllable industry with wood pellets and controlled 10kg bags supplied via the big govt retailers.
They didn’t reckon on the fact that their product is often 3 times the price of farm and estate sourced wood.
Add in all the people who burn pallets and off cuts and govt doesn’t like the tax avoidance element.
I kind of wondered if that would happen, but I was not thinking it would be a power plant doing it. I figured the people would go back to burning wood heaters instead of freezing or paying huge prices for LPG.
It’s organic and renewable!
