First of all, I want to thank everyone that prayed for me, my daughter Christina and her family last week after I posted the need for prayer. I won't go over the particulars again...but I would just like to say that the prayers were very effective and even though last week was one of the THE most difficult I have ever had...we have all made it through and are praising God for his faithfulness and for the love and support of this community. Things have improved considerably.
Christina will be able to come home on March 31...and we are planning on a family gathering to celebrate Christina's son's birthday and the birth of our newest grandchild, which will be no later than April 1. She has AA meetings mapped out and she will do IOP...her intense outpatient counseling. She has learned a lot...and there is a long road ahead in terms of the recovery and the legal aspects. I would ask that you especially pray that she is able to stay out of prison/jail...but really that the best outcome will be reached for her...we will leave that up to God's discretion. I know it would take a miracle...but it sure doesn't hurt to ask.
Again....thank you....this community is so great...and God does answer the prayers of his people. Our God is an awesome God...and His faithfulness endures forever...love you all...and I pray God's richest blessings on you and your families...
Lithium oratate the supplement , (NOT Lithium Carbonate the prescription) does wonders for addiction, depression & anxiety available online. It's made a significant improvement to my well-being
Thanks for that...will make a note of it...the hospital lithium is not good...
Life changing supplement for me.
What did it help you with...if you don't mind my asking...
Depression & anxiety. Killed my desire to drink alcohol
Thanks for the site...have never seen it...will check it out...I buy a lot of supplements...
What do you take for depression...the best thing I ever used for depression is St. John's Wort and Bach Flower Remedies. Also, citrus essential oils are excellent for lifting the mood...blends are good...and it is so easy to diffuse... What amino acids do you do for anxiety?...Ashwaganda is for anxiety...the kids take that...I am sure there are others... What do you take for insomnia...melatonin? I don't mean to be nosy...but inquiring minds want to know...I also like to know what works and what people use....just naturally curious, I would say....
This is an excellent article that I am going to send to all my kids...I may run it off for reference...fortunately we have corrected some of these imbalances but not others...it is certainly food for thought...especially coupling all this info with the lithium orotate...I just love discovering new ways to treat things...thanks so much for keeping these lists...
I was just reading up on lithium oratate and I am very impressed by what I am reading...I have treated schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, bi-polar...and I cannot believe I never came across this...most of my children have used alcohol to self-medicate. I wish I had known of this sooner...at rehab they put Christina on Prozac...which she will discontinue ASAP...sometimes you have to play the game when insurance pays for rehab. Thank you so much for this info...I feel like it could be important for our family.
Glad you have benefited from using this and took the time to share...
You can also read reviews on Amazon. I have been on celexa for 15 years, I feel it's pooped out on me. I am sensitive to antidepressants so I am reluctant to switch and the thought of SSRI withdrawal terrifies me. I added Lithium Oratate to my regimen and WOW, it made such a difference in my overall outlook as well as kill the desire for me to drink alcohol. I can't say enough good things about it.
I am spreading the news far and wide...it sounds wonderful...how much do you take?
I started with 5mg in the Am and later added 5mg at night. One can take up to 20mgs per day. Recently I went back down to 5 mg as the 10 left me feeling a little too omnipotent. Best of luck! There is a published medical paper that studied alcoholics post rehab. The group given LO had a significantly lower relapse rate.
