I grew up in Union county and still work there part-time but I have lived in Middlesex county for years now. Yes, there are many of us who vote red (native Jerseyans) but we have had an influx of immigrants (both from other countries and New York) for a very long time who tend to vote blue. I think we are up to 18 different languages on our voter information. With all of Murphy's crazy policies - off shore wind, only electric vehicles sales by 2030, no more state requirement to pass a statewide test for schools, the rapid push for DEI in all schools (up to K12 and state colleges., I think the Republicans have a chance to get a different message out that will appeal to more voters if they play it right.
