I am just an old fart and the only thing I know about crypto crap is that someone is always stealing the money. If a bank was getting robbed Monday, Wednesday, and twice on Friday, why would you put money in that bank?

I think it started more as an alternate currency, a way to pay for things like the dollar or yen but with less of a trace. The criminal element is always drawn to those sorts of things.
