Remember when all the major players were to be arrested (or cloned??) & either sent to Gitmo or executed, well, do you remember how the rumour even started, and the promises it made? This is how they "get you." The dates pass with nothing, but the beliefs "slide" on into the narrative! STAY CAREFUL!

Being a Christian, I learned in my youth to beware of "propheteers" and "date-faggots". It seems everyone wants to be the one to figure out the end-times. Unfortunately, we have over a 2000 years of people being wrong. There's a reason for this. And I think it has to do with living with faith for today and be thankful you get another day for experiencing all that God has splendidly created.
At that time I was pretty sure it wasn't end times, now I think it could be. I eagerly await the coming of Christ in my life, or to meet him at the end if I am wrong.
From this, it seems you might be too young to remember when Hal Lindsey was the prominent religious dispensationalist propheteer predicting the end-times.
I don't know the name, but I am old enough to have watched the original Star Wars in the back seat of my parents 71 Impala.
Hal Lindey's -- "The Late Great Planet Earth", 1970. This is when all the rapture bunnies came out of their holes.
