I am a hunter. I’ve killed many deer with large slugs. There is often no blood visible when you get to your kill. Why does everyone think there will be blood all over the place??
Because the perp was hit with 4 rounds of 5.56mm, a 12 gauge shotgun with probably 00 buck and four rounds of probably 9mm. All in premium defensive ammo. I don't know how gunshot victims you have seen, but that many at a range of approx 20 ft would result in quite a dramatic amount of blood. The subsequent wounds cause hydrostatic pressure that cause the initial wounds to expel blood. If the heart was pierced, the amount of blood doesn't flow as easily, but the continuous addition of additional hollowpoints create a significant increase of hydrostatic pressure that causes blood to exit from the wounds. The images don't seem to show any visible wounds or any visible blood.
Thank you for that explanation. That does make sense. Especially if the rounds were the best defensive rounds designed to tumble and shred. Did she have a dark vest on? Could that mask some of it? Honestly, the appearance of known gun control activists on news camera immediately gives me more indication that something is fishy.
The 12 gauge 00 buck alone would have cause massive damage all on its own. The distance of twenty feet is still a very concentrated blast of pellets with a diameter of approx 4-6 square inches. It would basically be like a fist sized wound and it would be like jello in the wound cavity. It would be devastating and gruesome.
100% dead on. I've seen it close up and there is blood and lots of it. That 12 gage with 00 buck will leave a mark and a ton of blood. Glad you brought up hydrostatic pressure. The scumbag was hit with at least 4 round of either 9 or 40 mm while on the ground, blood would start flowing out of the entry wood almost instantly.
PS i saw a man with the top of his head sliced off down to the brain from a close 12 gauge blast and there was almost no blood, a deer shot through the eye with a 22, no blood. Now stab wounds, that's different.

Bring on the downvotes - I know I’m right on this.
