You make a good point. Assuming the gold is real, why would they sell a lot of gold right now?
Yup. Gold is also a super conductor. Every modern digital product uses small amounts of gold. China is the production capital of the world. I doubt china’s domestic gold production gets exported outside of the occasional panda coin.
