I read and participate in "TheDonald.win" and here at "GreatAwakening.win". I have been told that "The Donald" is the more main-stream conservative forum and that "Great Awakening" is the lunatic "Q" supporting fringe of the republican party.
But my problem is that this group, "Great Awakening", seems to be more grounded in reality and "The Donald" seems to have more crazies who have lost their grip on reality. Am I reading this wrong, am I becoming too conservative?
Word! I’ve ALWAYS been “conservative” and became very aware of politics and the left’s shenanigans after my daughter was born. However, this site opened my eyes to a world of information that I’d never even heard of and completely changed the way I take in and process information, let alone the way I research any given topic. I’m definitely known now as the “conspiracy kook” in our circle, but so far my “conspiracy theories” have all just turned out to be conspiracies and not theories. And this site literally saved our lives as it kept a vast majority of us and our immediate families from taking what I like to call the CCAD(clot, cancer, and autoimmune disease) shot. I don’t know if I would have been adequately informed in time about the shot if it wasn’t for GAW. 🤷🏼♀️
Exactly. What if it weren't for somebody in your life telling you that we live in the Matrix? What if you were never red-pilled? Would you actually figure out the lies? Would you go looking for the truth? Or would you be a sheep? I'm glad that I was raised by ex military people that have seen some shit in their lives. I grew up fortunate in a way, because I had a wealth of knowledge that other kids didn't have, and I have always rebelled against authority anyway. Ingrained in my personality. I always questioned why certain people were in charge when they were idiots. Like when we ask our parents why do something and the answer is, "Because I told you so". No other argument other than we are your parents. On one hand, yes we understand they usually look out for their own children's best interests, but on the other, it's a logical fallacy to just use the ethos argument to drive a point home. Ethos, pathos and logos are the three types of arguments. Ethos is using people of authority or celebrity to endorse the argument (Scientists say, or John Cena or Shaquille O' Neal, etc). Pathos is manipulating emotions to drive argument home (aspca guilt trip ads and Sarah McLachlan music). Logos is facts and reason. Why would you use anything other than the last one to back your opinions and worldview? If you don't have the info, your argument doesn't exist to begin with. Sorry for the wall of text.
No apology necessary, I’m the Queen of writing novel responses. 😜 I do think that my upbringing as well, at the very least, gave me a moral compass so to speak with a strong foundation based on a biblical world view and the tools necessary to critically think through things with wisdom and discernment, especially as an adult. I can’t always say I had wisdom and discernment in my youth, just with life in general. But, then again, I don’t really know anyone that can claim to have been wise as a teenager. Anyways, you get my point. 😉 Then when I had my daughter, God used her to wake me up to what was really going on around me in politics and made me realize that I had the sobering responsibility to not just teach her right from wrong but WHY we believe the things we believe etc. What makes something right and something wrong? What is truth? What are facts? How do we know the truth and if we don’t, how do we seek and find it? Anyways, it’s been a fast but long journey at the same time. I feel like 10 years have past since Covid and the 2020 election. 😂 Cheers to our continual growth on this journey, fren.
Amen sister
I call it conspiracy fact. A great American leader (former Secretary of Ag who saw the deep state first hand & called them out to his religious group) said "I don't believe in conspiracy theroy, I believe in conspiracy fact.". I have lived that term ever since.
Just had a good discussion with a friend that talked to me about fish being harder to get in the oceans due to many issues with Asian fishing practices (overfishing is what I got from his discussion) & he steered into windmills of all things causing Dolphins & Whales to get screwed up sonar, run into them & die.
I questioned what happened & who reported it. We both agreed it was from sources that have been very fake recently. I told them to dig into who specifically claimed it. Which individual or agency made the original claim? Then look at who find which person/agency they are funded by/work for.
I never have done this until I started questioning with Q. This changes everything.
Yup! ALWAYS follow the money and you will generally find the answers you seek.
