I was raised in a church where your feelings towards religion/ scriptures were deeply personal. Later in life I joined a different faith where having and expressing your testimony was of value to the members of the church. I struggled bc it was deeply personal to me. I can see why Pres Trump wouldn’t answer the question.

There’s also those who would pick it apart, and believes the scripture: “Do not throw your pearls before swine, lest the swine trample them under their feet and then turn and tear you to pieces!”
